if ya bn following my post or should i say whining iv bn on vl failure after 6 months on kaletra and truvada. my vl shot up from 700's to shy of 4000. anyway the doc did a geno type test in order to change the medication, which i did not wanna do. well the report came back today that im 'sensitive to everything w/ no resistance including the kaletra. what the fu*ck is up w/ that? even the doctor said hez never cn that before. i get the impression he dosnt know what to do next. is this a good thing or a bad thing? should i c another doc?

You could get another opinion relatively quickly by asking your question at the Hopkins (http://qa.hopkins-aids.org/forum/main.html?section_id=61) website with Dr. Gallant. Your situation is rather unsual. I've seen some reports similar to yours but these were in patients who were on experimental Kaletra monotherapy. The only thing I could think of is sending the VL to another lab and using EDTA tubes to process it to make sure it was not due to lab error or a factor in the processing. I should warn you that if you choose to ask your question at Hopkins, the first thing he makes sure in situations of "treatment failure but no resistance" is if you have been taking your meds correctly, which you already said you were. You need to reiterate that if you ask him your question. Good luck.
P.S. In your other thread when you said the doc put you on 6 Kaletra a day instead of 4, were you referring to Kaletra tablets or Kaletra capsules?
