Anyone on Wellmark Blue cross/Shield insurance?
« on: November 07, 2007, 10:54:08 am »
I was going to title this "here we go again", but thought I'd get right to the point. My company is changing insurance AGAIN, going with Wellmark blue cross blue shield. The little they have told us so far, things look pretty much the same as the old FIRST HEALTH then COVENTRY we had before, or have now.  Just wondering how good (or bad) Wellmark is, for those that have ever had it from your employer?
(Now to my insurance gripe)
I love these yearly "guess what" surprises. I still find it barbaric in the US we tie insurance with employment, especially now a day. This should have ended long ago. We certainly need national health insurance of some type here in the most civilized third world country on earth   ;D
The formula use to be good job = good health insurance, bad job = bad or no insurance. Now its just any job = ?  Like playing Russian Roulette with your health, not to mention ones nerves.
I miss the good old days when I could care less what I had for insurance, cause I never used it anyway.   :(
