Hello everyone.
am 20 years old exactly 12 days ago i received a unprotected blowjob from a girl of a unknown status during this her mouth had a really foul smell that I started to notice almost before i finished (it lasted around 2 minutes maybe less) and also her saliva too I do not know what was going on in her mouth it was very dark, this was my second sexual experience other than kissing ever (i did not kiss this girl). the next day I had swollen lymph nodes in the groin area testicular pain and painful urination. I went to a urologist who prescribed antibiotics and let me go. yesterday was the last day of antibiotics and the thing is I did not get any better. I know that receiving head is not a risk but my fear started coming in when my jaw became extremely painful and numb what seems like a few tiny bumps not visible by the naked eye only when I zoom in with my camera can be seen on my penis. i sent a picture of the bumps to a dermatologist who is a family friend and he told me that they do not look like any STD and that its probably a chronic skin disorder. the pain and numbness in my jaw will not go away and it seems to be increasing travelling towards my ear, I still have some painful urination. there is no GUM or any STD experts in my area because am studying abroad and am fearing the worst. am still young and still didn't even experience life itself. please tell me your opinion about the situation even if I had no risk at all am pretty sure it will give me peace of mind. thank you in advance

You did not have a risk for HIV from getting a BJ . These are the risk factors for HIV .
Sharing IV drug needles immediately after use.
Unprotected anal and vaginal sex.
Mother to child during or shortly after birth
Very specific healthcare situations.
Your symptoms are not specific to HIV and tell you very little . The only way to know your HIV status is to test at the appropriate time .
ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED HIV TESTING AT THIS TIME for this incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.
Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thank you very much Jeff. can you give me advise or tell me what to do? am very embarrassed to talk to anyone about this....also I have had some random muscle aches and joint aches but al take your word that this is in no way a risk and I really hope so I don't think a person like me can deal with such a thing

I would advise you to go see a doctor and find out why you are unwell . Best of luck .

Hello Jeff...can you say that your 100% sure that there is no way that I could of been infected by HIV through my sexual activity?

No I honestly cant , I would say its more like 98% 99% that you did not have a risk .
Saying anything is 100 % is not an accurate statement to me .
There have been no fewer than three separate serodiscordant couples studies (where one person is HIV positive, the other negative.) These couples were tracked for three. five and ten years. The couples used condoms for penetrative vaginal and anal sex, but NO BARRIER at all for oral sex. Any kind of oral sex.
These studies yielded NO infections.

I attest to Moderator Jeff's assessment and will add that no one in the thirty plus years of monitoring this pandemic has ever been documented as haven gotten HIV from receiving a blow job.
I do not expect you to make scientific history.
