We've posted our first balance for AMG 08.  It's a good healthy start and shows how much we really do care about each other.  Thanks to those generous donors who have been very gracious with helping others to attend AMG in Mexico City this August.

Although we're off to a great start, they're are more who would like to attend but cannot due to the obvious monetary constraints.  So far we have received more requests than anticipated and so individual 'grants' are somewhat limited. 

Since we want to help as many people as we can and provide with a proper amount of money to make the Gathering worthwhile, we need to appeal for more funds.  Any amount any of you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.  No amount is too little.  It all adds up.

Last year, the Grant Committee received over $5,000.00 cash donations to help provide airfare and hotel assistance to our fellow members.  This allowed many who otherwise could not attend to experience and feelings and emotions that we all share with each other on-line.

By the way, perhaps some of you have noticed there will again be another AMG CD and t-shirt.  All are welcome to submit a tune to the CD and a design for the t-shirt.  You do not need to be an AMG goer or doer to participate.  The more the merrier~~~ !!
