Im glad to have found this forum, been reading it for a few days now and decided to post my doubts...
Im a male by the way.
Around end of May, i had unprotected oral, me being the receiving end, and protected virginal intercourse with a sex worker...
when i reached home and took a bathe, i noticed a small pimple on the side of my penis...
Just 3 days after that, i had a flu and muscle aches here and there... but i guess it was just a common cold... ARS do not occur that quickly im sure..
But just last week, im beginning to have itchy rashes which come and go... they itch whenever i bother em. But when i do not bother them, they just dissapear.... I have em on my back and arms..
Because of the common cold i had earlier, i went into anxiety and was depressed and stressed for 2 weeks as i symptom searched and almost convinced myself that i was positive for HIV...
My question is...
What are my risks of exposure ? considering i had a small pimple on my penis which took 1 day to dry up and 2 days to dissapear...
What are the kind of rashes that ARS produce ? I have read somewhere in this forum that they do not itch. Mine itches and comes and goes...
Could it be ARS or just my anxiety causing it...

You didn't have a risk of hiv infection. Getting a blowjob is not a risk for hiv infection. Not one person has ever become infected with hiv because they got a blowjob and you will not be the first.
You did the right thing and used a condom. Condoms are excellent protection against hiv transmission, regardless of any pimple on your penis.
Not one of your symptoms sounds remotely like hiv infection. ARS symptoms do not come and go, they come on all at once and they leave all at once. The ARS rash does not itch. However, symptoms or the lack of symptoms mean nothing when it comes to hiv infection - only hiv antibody testing will reliably inform you of your status.
While you do NOT need to test over this specific incident, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs. If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

You did not have a risk of infection through getting a blowjob or having protected intercourse.

....and if any of your symptoms persist you should discuss them with your doctor. There's absolutely scientific basis for you to think this has anything to do with HIV nor is there any need for HIV testing .
