avascular necrosis

Hi all,
Anyone else have issues with avascular necrosis.  My blood work is excellent, but had both hips replaced 6 years ago, my right shoulder this past January, and I am scheduled for the left shoulder in June. 
If you have, I hope you have as good recovery as I have.  Hips have been great, and the arm is getting stronger every day.  It's just really a pain (no pun intended).
Just curious if anyone else has gone through this.

Damilgin, I have AN, but in my knees.  It's only bone on bone.  Glad you've had success with your surgeries.  I really need both knees replaced, but with the right one, the doctor said he would have to put a rod in vertically to hold the joint in place, and I'm not willing to have that done right now. 

My doctor said people can run their knees into the ground before they have to have absolute surgery. 

Anyway, yes, I do have AN, and know how painful it can be.

I've moved your thread from the Lipo forum into the Living forum, where you'll hopefully get more responses. Thanks go to Betty for responding to your thread - I might not have noticed where it was if she hadn't. (Don't know how I missed it when you first posted - sorry!)

While I haven't experienced AN myself, I've spoken to enough people who have (Betty included) to know how painful it can be. Horrible, really.

It's good to hear how successful your hip and shoulder surgeries have been and I sincerely hope your second shoulder op goes smoothly too. Keep us posted!
