1st Month Blood Test
« on: January 28, 2014, 04:33:44 am »
Hello everyone!!

Well I just got my new numbers after 4 weeks on Truvada/Prezista/Norvir.

Viral Load went down from 175 000 to 450... Cd4 went up from 270 to 340!!!

My liver enzymes are at the limit, so my Dr. told me she will monitor that, as well my triglycerides which are high!!

Other than that, my dr is very happy with my results.

I guess I should start working out and eating more healthy!! ;)

Greetings!!

Seems like a wonderful response to therapy. I think it usually takes a few months to go UD, and you are already almost there!

Congrats for your results, I am on Truvada/Tivacay for exactly 1 month too, (first time on meds after discovering I had HIV 2 months ago)... My VL went down from 192,000 to 42 and my Cd4 from 156 to 264... I am super happy about my results and the minimum side effects of this combo and the minimal disruption of my normal life...now I only need to see my doctor in 3 months and if my cd4 keep on going up, I will only have to see her every year... :)
