I have a stupid question. Is it possible for someone to become infected with HIV by screwing a blow up doll or toy vagina?

Thanks in advance for your response.

Worried,

Hiv stands for HUMAN immunodeficiency virus. Blow-up dolls are not human, no matter how realistic you may think they are.

Please read our Transmission Lesson so you can understand what is and what is not a risk for hiv. You'll find a link to the lesson in our Welcome Thread. Get reading!

HIV is a fragile virus and not easily transmitted. A sex doll or other such contrivance doesn't provide the kind of setting for transmission, no, not even if it's dripping with body fluids from a previous user.

It's a no risk setting for HIV transmission. Period.

I've been married for almost three years. Was a virgin before I met my wife who has tested negative for HIV through out our 9 year relationship. Before we started dating I did purchase and use several sex toys but never engaged in unprotected intercourse with anybody. Over the past few years, starting back in 2006, I have received unprotected oral from 2 female friends of mine  on several occasions. Both claim that they are HIV negative. I don't know for sure. I went to the doctor at the end of November 09 and was told that my White Blood Cell count was low (3.3). Went back at the end of December 09 and was told that it's still low (3.7). Now the doctor wants to refer me to a Hematologist. I have also had several medical test done like a colonoscopy, root canals, dental work, an ERCP due to moderate Liver Enzyme elevations that come and go. I have tested negative for Viral Hepatitis. Could I have contracted HIV from the Sex Toys, unprotected oral sex or any of the medical procedures? Thanks for your comments and advice.

HIV is a fragile virus and is not passed from environmental surfaces including sex toys.

As for getting oral from someone, there's never been a confirmed case of transmission to a guy getting done. It's safe to say you won't make history by becoming the first to be infected that way.

You are worrying needlessly about HIV. Get on with your life.

Other STDs are easier to acquire so if you are having sex outside of your marriage, it's a good idea to at least once a year have a full STD panel done.

Fingering makes no difference. HIV is not transmitted by fingering. Check out our Welcome Thread. It contains useful information regarding HIV transmission.

My wife is 6 months pregnant and she is going in for a check up and blood work tomorrow. Over the past few months I have not behaved myself. I have engaged in multiple sessions of unprotected oral sex, me receiving, with one person. I have also engaged in mutual masturbation with this person where I manually stimulated her vagina and within seconds of doing so used that same hand to masturbate myself. Even touching the head of my penis. Did i put myself and wife at risk?

Worried,

I take it you still haven't bothered to read our Welcome thread, otherwise you would know not to start new threads.

I've merged your new thread into your original thread - where you should post all your additional thoughts or questions. It helps us to help you when you keep all your additional thoughts or questions in one thread. It doesn't matter how long it has been since you last posted in your thread or if the subject matter is different.

If you need help finding your thread when you come here, click on the "Show own posts" link under your name in the left-hand column of any forum page.

Please also read through the Welcome Thread so you can familiarize yourself with our Forum Posting Guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation.

We've already told you that getting a blowjob is not a risk for hiv infection and neither is fingering, not even if you touched your penis afterwards.

If you cannot bring yourself to believe us, go test and collect your negative result.

This is all about guilty feelings and this is not the proper place to work through those feelings. Get counselling if you need it - we cannot provide that level of support here.

As Ann has told you, nothing you are reporting put you at risk for HIV.

What this is really about is the common syndrome of leftover guilt after having strayed. You can't undo your history. You did what you did. Let it go and get on with your life.

HIV is not your problem and never will be from getting blowjobs.

I've engaged in receiving unprotected blowjobs from 2 different women. One blew my once and the other has probably blown me a dozen times or more. I've also engaged in mutual masturbation where I touched her vagina and then touched the head of my penis with her wetness on my fingers or she's touched herslef and then touched my penis. Any risk?

Nothing you are reporting put you at risk for HIV. Receiving a blowjob is one of the most common of sexual activities. In the entire history of the epidemic no guy has ever been confirmed to have been infected in that manner. Not one.

The ONLY CONFIRMED risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. Use condoms everytime and you will be well protected.

As a sexually active person you should be aware that other STDs are much easier to acquire than HIV. You should at least once a year have a full STD panel done to make sure you haven't picked up one of the other STDs.

You have not been at risk for hiv infection, once again. Re-read your entire thread - you were worried about the same things last time you were here. Our answers are not going to change.

I suggest you try to learn and remember the ins and outs of hiv transmission this time around, so you can stop worrying in future.

As long as you use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse outside your marriage, you will avoid hiv infection. Blowjobs and masturbation you don't need to worry about - you're only putting yourself at risk for further feelings of guilt.

It's been a while since I've posted on this forum so here are my concerns. Over the past 18 months I have engaged in the following activities outside of my normal relationship. I have received 2 unprotected blowjobs and mutual masturbation with one female friend. I probably got her vaginal wetness on my hand and touched my penis with that same hand. I fingered another female friend twice, again getting her wetness on my hand and touching my penis. I also rubbed my bare penis on her buttocks (at the very top, no where near her anus or vagina) to simulate intercourse. No penetration whatsoever. I have also received 5 sensual massages that involved me receiving "happy endings". Did any of this put me at even the slightest of risk?

Thanks

No, none of these incidents put you at the slightest risk of HIV infection, though unprotected oral sex may put you at risk for other STD's/STI's.

The HIV is fragile and would not survive contact with air so could not be transmitted from your hand to your penis.

Rubbing your penis on your partner's buttocks is not a risk for HIV infection, nor is receiving a "hand job" during a massage.

Move on with your life.

Hi

Patrick has given you all the answers and details you need.

Getting your penis sucked is not a HIV risk, saliva is not infectious, it also contains over a dozen elements that neutralize HIV.

As for touching her vagina, fingering and getting the fuids on you it simply had no route to infect you and the fluids were not infectious !!!  HIV does not survive outside the human body, once hiv finds itself exposed outside the body, small changes in temperature, pH / moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect.

Read back the thread a number of moderators have explained this to you on a number of different occasions. You had no risk end of story now move on with your life, no drama required.

Don't post about touching, masturbation, fingering, getting BJ's or anything already asked again. Use condoms and test yearly for STI's including HIV but move on now, if you post again it will lead to a 28 day Time out.(Ban)

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information can be found in my signature including some basic information on:
HIV Testing & HIV Transmission and Risks

Kind regards

Jim

Hi

You have been warned at least 4 times by a number of the moderators to follow and read the posting guidelines and also to only post in your own thread.

You have had 13 replies from 5 moderators regarding the same or similar situations that are simply not risks to you, we have also explained how HIV is transmitted and provided safer sex information.

Your ban has been extended to a permanent ban, now I do this and say this from a point of kindness as you just need to move on now, we can not help you in this setting, you need to stop irrationally focusing/stressing about HIV, if you can't than speak to someone face to face who can help you move past this fear.

I can't put it better than has already been said to you a number of times before by others:

This is all about guilty feelings and this is not the proper place to work through those feelings. Get counselling if you need it - we cannot provide that level of support here.
