I passed this one around the counseling office. We frequently see people who have no problems taking street drugs but don't want to go on an antidepressant because "I don't want to get addicted to medication".

Nice, I see you've been reviewing your notes...

However tonight I am enjoying a Peruvian Merlot from Taberno. Whole Foods had a "Fill a bag for $35" wine sale and this is one that made it in the bag.

*but just so you are not dissapointed, I have a box of Franzia Chillable red in the fridge (im quite sure its malt liquor and not wine at all)

At least Boone's use screw tops -- if you unscrew it in less than 7 turns that indicates a good vintage. More than 7 is a bad year.

The Hormones/Acid pic does remind me of many friends who smoke anything, pop any pill without knowing what it is, and snort anything having no idea where it came from, but are still questioning the safety of the flu vaccination. These are the same ones who bareback with a stranger, because he looks "clean" and "honest". Oh, and a family member who smokes cigarettes like a chimney, but is afraid to eat food cooked on a grill.

Actually she really does look great. There was a shot of her mooning the gardners on Perezunrated (i think), and her titties were amazing.

But back to last night, I think it was her grating voice that caused me to finally change the channel, and not her black lace bra.

I certainly enjoy the Anderson and Kathy New Year show over Seacrest. Kathy shows a lot of restraint not bringing up the gay issue with Anderson. She dances all around it, but doesn't go there. She's coming back to Louisville in May, so got to get my tickets. She was here a few years ago and got the key to the city on the courthouse steps. We went down and almost no one showed up--guess they didn't promote it well. She featured it in one of her D-List shows.

Did this for 2007, it was a great time. We all had to go see them drop sushi in a shoe.... Totally fun time, if you ever have the opportunity to go, I would much rather prefer this over time square any day.

I watched Anderson and Kathy, but DVR'd Ryan and Dick Clark, just cause I like to see it; Lady Gaga was great, as always....this was Dick Clark's 40th New Year's on TV. Wow. Sad to say, I remember before him, we watched Guy Lombardo....he is actually the one who started playing Auld Lang Syne as a new year's song, I believe....I love hearing "New York, New York" played at Times Square. I always wanted to be there for NY's, but too old now...don't think I could stand it.

Wow, I haven't thought of Guy Lombardo in years. He died on the day after my fifteenth birthday and I remember hearing about it on the news.

He and his band The Royal Canadians were definitely the ones to make Auld Lang Syne famous and the band's recording of the song is still the first one played at midnight on Times Square.

Thinking of Guy Lombardo brings Lawrence Welk to mind. The golden age of television or what?
