Having my Butt kicked....
« on: October 16, 2009, 12:21:18 pm »
by a bad case of Urinary Tract/kidney/bladder infection.   I have been so sick this week....sicker that I have been in 10 years.   103 fevers, violent chills, uncontrollable urination,  nausea, and the worst night sweats I've had in ages.  I have once again resorted to sleeping on a beach towel.   I wake up soaking wet, and freezing.  Very miserable.....

I got a shot, and 2 oral antibiotics on Wed, so hopefully that will knock it out.

The cruel joke of it all:  this was to be my week of 'vacation' from work.   Some vacation!

Oh, that sounds awful Alan.  I've had that and it's not enjoyable.  Hopefully those antibiotics will kick in quickly but I'm sure it will take days to clear you out.

Poor Alan: I know, it's awful.

As previously said, those antibiotics will help.

It's Sunday, I'm doing much better now.  Still not back at 100%, but so much better than before.   I guess it's back to work for me tomorrow.  YUCK.

I will not work the entire day if I get to feeling too bad.

Thanks for your concern, everyone!

Hugs,  Alan

Hey Alan,

Sorry I wasn't around to give you my support. I've been a bit under the weather myself.

I am glad you're feeling better, but it does suck that it was your "vacation."

HUGS,
