Author Topic: My hair is dark green. Can anybody help me? (Read 7916 times)

Yesterday my friend Felix and I were bored so we coloured our hair at home. The colour we were supposed to obtain was dark-ash- blonde (6.1) from Loreal excellence. But my hair turned red. So Felix decided to colour it with blue-black to compensate the red with the blue and get a neutral colour.
Well it did not work and my hair looks green. I am supposed to work next thuesday. What can I do?

Or else, try a red rinse on top of it (semi-permanent only; your scalp will rebel if you experiment all day.)

Green + Red = Brown. Ask my dad; when I was a senior in high school and it was his turn to do the shopping, he had to get Tampax for my sister and Loving Care for me (he's the one who didn't like my green hair.)

Definitely need a pro. I think they have to basically strip it down to bleached white and build it back up to something approximating a natural hair color, if I recall my Vidal Sassoon lessons.

Sounds reasonable. When I was young much younger than today, my friend had to totally bleach my hair before we could add some colour. We went for some neon-red-orange, very similar like a glowing carrot. When it grew out, it changed to some off-yellowish curry colour. Cute in a way, though.

So, are gonna change your screen name into greenbeauty now?

Maybe a Henna Shampoo will do...but I will wait till Monday for advice..My parents are in Norway and I lent my camera to my mom... If I get a camera before Monday I will post a picture. Under the bright sunlight it looks more purple than green.
I shaved my pubs so I cant dye them to match

Only one thing to say...your Ph is off...that's one problem with blond hair and chlorine...my advice is to go to the hair dresser, a color specialist and see what they recommend...but local drug stores have shampoos that will remove the extra chlorine form your hair...

I did that once going for the "fun in the sun" look. The chemicals in the dark ash and the black don't work together, never mix ash in a double color process. I suggest going with Loreal Dark blonde #7. A man is not a real man unless he is blond. Have the best day

I finally solved it with a graphite-black from LOreal. It looks very artificial but at least it is shinny and quite fashionable. But I don´t look as sexy as the man on the box...

Don't wear anything turquoise. it will make for an unsightly clash. That's the only help I can offer.
